The Tarot Reading That Predicted My Mediumship

Sometimes the most important moments in our lives happen when we least expect them.

Years before I became a professional psychic medium, I had a tarot reading that predicted the direction my life would eventually take. At the time, I didn’t believe a word of it.

But looking back now, I realize that moment was one of the first confirmations that Spirit had a very different plan for my life.

At the time, I was in law school and living in Florida. One day I went to the Sawgrass Mills Mall and noticed a tarot reader offering readings.

I decided to sit down for a reading.

Within minutes she began telling me things that I had not shared with her. She knew my brother had passed away, and she knew that I was currently attending law school.

Nothing about my appearance suggested I was a law student. I hadn’t mentioned it. Yet she said it with confidence.

Then she told me something that I completely dismissed.

She said that I would not finish law school.

She explained that I would need a business degree instead and that I had strong intuitive abilities that could develop into psychic mediumship.

I remember thinking very clearly: that will never happen.

When Life Changes Direction

A few months later, something unexpected happened.

I did not receive the financial aid I needed to continue law school, and I had to leave the program.

Suddenly my carefully planned future had disappeared.

At the time it felt frustrating and confusing. But life began to move in other directions.

I went to bartending school, worked in restaurants, eventually became a restaurant manager, and later worked for Walt Disney World.

None of those experiences looked anything like the life I had imagined when I was studying law.

And still, the intuitive part of me never fully disappeared.

When Spirit Knocks on the Door

Even when we try to ignore our spiritual gifts, they have a way of returning.

Throughout my life I had experiences with Spirit, beginning when I was a child. But for many years I didn’t fully embrace them.

Eventually those experiences became stronger and more consistent.

Spirit kept “knocking on the door.”

When I finally allowed myself to reconnect with the way I had communicated with Spirit as a child, my abilities began to grow. I practiced, developed my awareness, and learned how to trust the information I was receiving.

That process eventually led me to become the psychic medium I am today.

Sometimes Others See Our Path Before We Do

Looking back now, I realize that the tarot reader didn’t create my path.

She simply recognized something that was already there.

Many people who develop intuitive or psychic abilities begin their journey this way. The signs appear long before they are fully understood.

Life sometimes takes us in directions we never expected.

But those changes often guide us toward the work we were meant to do.

Trusting the Journey

Our lives do not always unfold according to our plans.

But they often unfold according to something deeper—our soul’s purpose.

Sometimes it just takes time for us to recognize it.
