How Heaven Measures Time

One of the most fascinating questions people ask during a reading is this:

“What is time like in Heaven?”

It’s a natural question. Our lives on Earth revolve around time. We measure our days by the clock, our years by the calendar, and our lives from the moment we are born until the moment we pass away.

Everything here follows a linear timeline.

But according to the spirits who have spoken with me over the years, time in Heaven works very differently.

Heaven sees time in moments.
Heaven sees time in moments.

Earthly Time Is Linear

On Earth, time moves forward in a straight line.

We wake up each morning and move through minutes, hours, and days that slowly build into years. Our physical bodies age, our experiences accumulate, and eventually our time here comes to an end.

This structure exists for a reason.

Linear time allows us to experience growth, learning, and transformation step by step.

The challenges we face and the lessons we learn unfold gradually across the timeline of our lives.

But when the soul leaves the body, that structure changes.

No Physical Body Means No Linear Time

Spirit has explained to me many times that once we leave our physical body, the experience of time changes completely.

Without a physical body, there is no longer a need for linear time.

Instead, time becomes something closer to energy or frequency.

In the energetic world of Heaven, existence is not measured by hours or days.

It is measured through moments.

Moments in Heaven

Spirit has described time in Heaven as a series of meaningful moments.

A moment to be born.

A moment to heal.

A moment to reunite with those we love.

A moment to remember the life we lived.

A moment to understand the lessons we experienced.

And eventually, a moment to let go of what no longer serves the soul.

These moments are not limited by clocks or calendars. They unfold naturally within the energetic flow of Heaven.

Why Our Time on Earth Matters

Although time on Earth may sometimes feel imperfect or difficult, Spirit consistently reminds us that our time here serves an important purpose.

Earth is a place where the soul can learn through experience.

We encounter love, loss, joy, hardship, and growth in ways that help the soul develop wisdom and compassion.

These lessons do not disappear when we pass into the spirit world.

Instead, they become part of the understanding we carry with us into Heaven.

The Timing of the Soul Group

Another fascinating insight Spirit has shared is that our lives are not isolated journeys.

Each of us belongs to a soul group — a collection of souls who work together across lifetimes to support one another’s growth.

Because of this, our time on Earth often aligns with the lives of others in our soul group.

The relationships we experience, the people who cross our paths, and the timing of certain events may all be part of this larger spiritual coordination.

In many ways, our lives intersect so that we can help one another move closer to our higher selves.

When one soul grows, it often helps elevate the entire group.

Living With Purpose

When we begin to see life through this spiritual perspective, our time on Earth takes on a deeper meaning.

We are not simply moving through random years.

We are participating in a journey of the soul.

Our experiences help us grow, and they also help those around us grow as well.

In that way, time becomes more than a measure of days.

It becomes a measure of learning, connection, and love.

And when our time here is complete, the soul returns to a place where time is no longer counted in years — but experienced in moments of understanding and peace.
