How Does Spirit Know to Show Up for Your Reading?

One of the most common questions I receive as a professional medium is this:

“How do they know I booked a reading?”“How does Spirit know to show up?”

It’s a fair question. And the answer is both simple and profound.

It Is Telepathic — But It’s More Than That

When you schedule a reading, you are not dialing a phone number in Heaven. You are setting an intention.

And intention carries energy.

Early in my development as a medium, I was given an experience to help me understand how this works from their perspective. It wasn’t theoretical. It was experiential.

I felt what I can only describe as an energetic wave move through me. Within that wave was information — clear, complete, and immediate. I understood that someone I knew was in the midst of passing in a plane crash. And I was given the choice: if I wished to greet this soul, I would meet at the place where loved ones gather to welcome those crossing over.

There was no travel in the way we understand travel. No time delay. It was instantaneous — like teleporting by intention.

That experience taught me something extraordinary.

Spirit operates in informational waves of consciousness.

When you desire connection with your loved ones, that intention creates a ripple — a signal — that moves through your soul family.

It isn’t loud. It isn’t chaotic. It isn’t forced.

It is simply known.

That informational wave flows through all of your loved ones in Spirit. And those who wish to step forward — those who feel they have something to say, reassurance to give, healing to offer — come.

Not because they are commanded.

But because they love you.

They Are Not “Summoned”

This is important.

Mediumship is not about summoning. It is not about pulling someone from rest. It is not about disturbing peace.

Spirit exists in awareness. They are conscious, connected, and deeply attuned to you. The bond of love does not dissolve when the body does.

When you reach for them, they feel it.

And when it serves healing, growth, or comfort — they step in.

Love Is the Frequency

The reason connection works across dimensions is not because of ritual or performance.

It works because love is a frequency.

And love is faster than time.

When we understand that Spirit communicates through waves of informational energy, the mystery softens. It becomes less about “How could this be?” and more about “Of course.”

Of course they know.

Of course they come.

Of course love continues.

Heaven is not far away. It is simply another room in the same house of existence.
